Harvey Blitz is Past President of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, which represents hundreds of Orthodox synagogues throughout North America.  Prior to becoming President, he served as Senior Vice-President and as Treasurer of the organization. 

Harvey Blitz is a Senior Vice-President at AXA Financial, Inc., a large financial services company in New York City.  Born in Detroit, he holds a BA from Wayne State University, a law degree from the University of Chicago, and an MA degree from New York University.  He lives in New York.

Harvey blitz has been a member of the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since September 2001. He serves as the Deputy Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee.
