Isrotel Hotel in Eilat

Eilat, Israel’s ultimate resort city, has seen a surge in tourism over the past decade. Isrotel, one of Israel’s leading hotel chains, operates eight hotels in the city and is looking to employ over 300 people.

The Isrotel Hotel Employment Program, a joint project of the Jewish Agency for Israel and Isrotel, provides immediate employment opportunities for new immigrant singles, couples and adults with children from all over the world. Job areas include reception, maintenance, housekeeping, servers and hospitality, and certified chefs and electricians.

Upon arrival in Israel, program participants have a job waiting for them at one of Isrotel’s hotels and travel immediately to Eilat. Subsidized accommodations are provided by Isrotel, but  families, young couples and singles who wish to rent their own apartment receive a living stipend. Participants are accompanied through the initial first-year absorption process by an aliyah coordinator who speaks their language.

While working, participants learn Hebrew in the afternoons at an intensive, five-month ulpan, and have the optionto receive an additional 200 hours of Hebrew learning.Participants receive three meals a day and are entitled to all of the benefits of Isrotel employees. For families in which both parents participate in the program, there is afternoon daycare for children ages 3-9 which ends at 5:00 p.m. and includes free transportation.

This program gives new immigrants an excellent start in the growing hotel industry. It provides them with immediate job security as they begin their new lives in one of Israel’smost exciting cities.
